Bidirectional Data Transformations

Data Transfer Objects (DTOs) have long been the go-to solution for data transfer between components, but aren't you annoyed that you have to write two transformations for converting your domain objects to and from your DTO objects? Aren't you tired of essentially implementing the same logic twice? We show you how to save time and nerves by using bidirectional data transformations. Bidirectional data transformations implement the conversion logic just once, which makes data conversion less annoying, less tedious, and less error-prone. Additionally, describing explicitly how the data is connected fosters understanding of your domain objects and improves maintainability of you code base.
